The goal of occupational therapy is to facilitate a child’s participation in the activities, roles, and routines at school. An occupational therapist analyzes the facilitators and barriers to participation such as sensory, motor, cognitive, perceptual and social abilities as well as the environmental impacts on performance. CORA staff utilize an array of engaging strategies and activities in their work with students to promote successful participation in school-related activities. Additionally, our staff partner with classroom teachers to incorporate activities that support skill development and community participation.

- Students in grades K-12 in contracted schools who are referred for service by a teacher, administrator or educational specialist.
