CORA Seussville Middle School Writing Contest

    

The CORA Middle School Writing Contest was established to showcase a student who exhibits excellent creative writing skills. CORA Services will award the winning student with a $100 monetary award.

Eligibility: To be considered for CORA’s Dr. Seuss writing Contest, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a middle school student (grades 5–8)
  • Must submit one original writing sample  – a poem inspired by Dr. Seuss that is a minimum of 25 lines
  • Must include the name of the student, school, address, phone, parent name, and email address, and obtain a parent or guardian’s signature approving CORA to utilize the student’s name and photo on CORA’s website and social media sites promoting Seussville
  • CORA’s Dr. Seuss Writing Contest winner will be announced on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at CORA’s Conference Center

 Write a minimum of 25 line poem about yourself using Dr. Seuss style rhythm and rhyme.

Submissions for the CORA Dr. Seuss Writing Contest must be submitted no later than Monday, February 11th, 2019.
