CORA SERVICES SELECTED AS IRON HILL’S LOCAL CHARITY

New Huntingdon Valley location open to public on August 2nd
August 10, 2016

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA – As Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant opens the doors of its 12th location in the Huntingdon Valley Shopping Center (785 Huntingdon Pike, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006) at 5pm on Tuesday, August 2nd, the corporation also launches its partnership with CORA Services.

Co-Founders Kevin Finn, Kevin Davies and Mark Edelson will continue Iron Hill’s company-wide commitment to giving back to the communities where their brewpubs are located through a range of ambitious and worthy charitable initiatives.

Each Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant participates locally in civic and community service opportunities with nonprofit organizations. In June 2016, Iron Hill joined CORA Services and over 200 golfers at Philmont Country Club for the 8th Annual CORA for KIDS Golf Classic. The Iron Hill team provided growlers of two microbrews throughout the day at tents located on the course.

It was through this relationship and an appreciation for CORA’s 45 years of dedicated service to the community of Northeast Philadelphia that resulted in its selection as the Huntingdon Valley location’s inaugural local charity of choice. In conjunction with the grand opening, CORA will be a co-recipient of a portion of each sale of Iron Hill’s signature dessert at the Huntingdon Valley location.

The Triple Chocolate Hill is an impressive confection of moist double fudge brownies sitting on a warm bed of peanut butter caramel sauce, covered in chocolate, accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice cream and topped with whipped cream. Of each Chocolate Hill sold, $1.50 is split between CureSearch for Children’s Cancer, Iron Hill’s corporate charity, and CORA Services.

The architects have created a brighter, more contemporary design allowing for all-access views of the brewery, which is highly visible behind the bar and enclosed in glass. Iron Hill Huntingdon Valley’s open footprint also showcases convivial communal tables and reach-in refrigerators at the host stand, permitting guests ample opportunities to take home their most popular and award-winning seasonal beers in both 16-oz cans and 750mL reserve bottles.
